June 1986

Cynthia Shauna Anderson was 18 when diagnosed with the brain tumor and after surgery she entered the University of Utah and the Delta Gamma Sorority where she made the Dean's list and participated in social activities to keep her spirit up in the fight against the cancer. After a two year battle, she left us one summer evening in June 1986 and we've missed our dear "Buttercup" ever since. We pray for Shauna and all dear Children who have been afflicted with brain tumors and we are thrilled that new science and medical breakthroughs are helping save more lives.
