It's the most wonderful time of the year.
Hello Everyone,

It is that busy, magical time of year where everyone is preparing for this wonderful holiday season. The wonder, love, peace, joy, and feeling of belief is renewed in our hearts. As I continue to unpack and organize our things, I am also trying to decorate so that I bring the feeling of home back into our house. We feel so blessed that all of our pictures weren't damaged during our fire. It's the family photos that bring warmth to the walls of our home. We are anxiously awaiting the completion of our hearth and mantel. This is where the stockings are hung, the ornamental Santas are placed, and the Christmas wreath (specially made by my friend, Carrie) is displayed! Hoping that the contractor will know the importance of our hearth and mantel during this time of year and complete his work! It's hard to be patient for such a long time!

The snow is softly falling and the Christmas carols are playing as we decorate our tree. Another blessing that we have all our ornaments, which are years of memories from places we lived/visited, gifts, and handmade ones by the girls! I love taking them out and reminiscing where they originated from. Treasured memories that are irreplaceable. We ventured out yesterday for our annual search to cut our tree. It was extremely cold! We climbed up the side of a mountain to choose our beautiful, full fir. In time, we will have everything in place ready to celebrate this season.

Denis left early this morning for a business trip to Cancun. He will return late Friday night and then he and Jaclyn are heading to Georgetown to assist with the "adoption" of another child who is battling a brain tumor. The women's Georgetown LAX team is going to adopt Allie. We are so excited about what is happening with our Friends of Jaclyn Foundation. We will keep you posted as there is so much excitement happening for these amazing children.

We love you all and celebrate everyday,
The Murphys
