UMass LAX Break Loosing Streak in FOJ Game Against BC |

AMHERST, Mass. - Kaytlin McCormick and Kathleen Typadis each tallied four goals each as the UMass women's lacrosse team defeated Boston College 13-10 on Saturday afternoon in McGuirk Stadium. It was a special day as both teams played to benefit the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation and honored their adopted little sisters, Lexie Williams and Judith Theriault, prior to the game. UMass held an 18-to-7 advantage on draw controls and shot a season-best 6-for-8 on free position shots to pull out the win.
The Minutewomen improve to 2-6 on the season and snapped a six-game losing streak with the win. Boston College falls to 2-5 on the year.
