2nd Annual Friends of Jaclyn Pediatric Brain Tumor Awareness College Lax Challenge Tickets on Sale

Three-time defending national champion Northwestern Wildcats will face off against perennial powerhouse Georgetown Hoyas in a benefit to support the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.

WomensLax.com, Amonte Sports and the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation will host the 2nd Annual "Friends of Jaclyn" Brain Tumor Awareness College Lax Challenge. The event will bring the Georgetown lacrosse team to Evanston, IL to join the Northwestern Wildcats in a benefit to generate pediatric Brain Tumor Awareness.

The game will be played at 7:00pm CST on March 28, 2008 at Northwestern University. Tickets are now available online at www.womenslax.com or by calling 1-877-926-6683. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds will benefit the Foundation.

Please note: If there are still tickets available, they will be sold at the door on 3/28 for $7, but none of the walk-up proceeds will benefit the Foundation.

Additionally, there will be a benefit banquet on Thursday March 27th. The banquet will feature Jaclyn Murphy and her family, Northwestern & Georgetown players, coaches, fans, corporate sponsors and distinguished guests. All proceeds are to benefit the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, a charitable organization, created and dedicating itself to raise public awareness regarding pediatric brain tumors. Funds will be used to improve the quality of life for children who are diagnosed with pediatric brain cancer. Proceeds will be donated to charities with programs in pediatric patient care, research, and education.
